OnSite Training Makes It Easy!

TeamDME!® has been described as the program that works "Just like I would expect to do it".  But we believe that a great part of your success is the hands-on training that we provide to get you started using the system.

OnSite Computer/Software Training

We take you and your staff through the setup of your company to tell TeamDME!® how you want it to work (not the other way around).  Then on to Inventory to enter your item numbers, descriptions, costs and selling price and Ledger account numbers if you want to send journals to the Ledger automatically.

We show you how to setup your patients, customers, physicians and payers and then we're ready to start entering medical orders.  We show you how to enter one time purchases (canes, crutches), short-time rentals (breast pumps), recurring rentals (hospital beds, concentrators) as well as recurring purchases (wound care and diabetic supplies).   We'll show you how the system automatically changes the procedure code modifiers from KH to KI to KJ, adds the BU modifier in the 10th month and replaces all modifiers with MS after the 15th month.  You can print camera-ready CMNs along with cover letters to the physician or their office manager.  The system can also print the 10 month rent/purchase letters.  And you can print whatever claim your payer prefers from the HCFA 1500 form in several formats to plain paper invoices.

We show you how to enter all kinds of payments and adjustments.  You can apply payments automatically from the ERN (Electronic Remittance Notice), or you can enter payments manually.  You can track when any payer overpays a claim, or when they recoup money from a claim after they've paid it.

Finally we show you the number of reports you can print from TeamDME!®:

  • Aged Receivable reports by Total, Payer and  Patient
  • Transaction and Adjustment Audit Report
  • Revenue by Payer, Salesperson, Referral, Item Number, Item Category, HCPCS Procedure, ICD9 codes, Zip Code and Sales Tax Area
  • Monthly Statements and Collection letters

This same material is also covered in a 2 day classroom seminar.  Click here to see information about the classroom training.

Onsite Accounting Training

Once you have mastered the basics of Inventory, Orders and Receivables, you're ready to take to next step.  TeamDME!® has the solution you need to bring it all together: accounting for your business.  All the modules feed journals to the General   Ledger, so you only need to post them to have an up-to-the minute Balance Sheet and Income Statement.

First we show you how to use Purchase Orders to control your ordering.  The system will show you the last price you paid and you can order various packages (each, box, case, etc).  You can print or fax the purchase order to the vendor.  Marking an item received increases your on-hand quantity.  Then we'll show you how to automatically create purchase orders to your favorite vendor based on the minimum/maximum levels you can set for each item.  Or you can create a number of purchase orders from a single customer order.

Next you will see how to enter Payable invoices for the items you ordered with Purchase Orders.  You can enter a PO number or search for a purchase order by vendor name.   Once you enter the PO number, the program will calculate the value of the items received and display it for you to compare with the invoiced amount.  The program will print a check immediately or schedule it for payment later if you prefer.

Finally, you see how it all comes together in the Ledger.  We'll create a chart of accounts and enter manual ledger journals.  Then we'll show you how the system creates journals from the Inventory, Order, Receivable, Payable modules for you to print and post to the Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
