How to Qualify a Diagnosis Code for a HCPC Code:

To start and maintain a database of Diagnosis codes that qualify for HCPC codes, please do the following:
    First, log into TeamDME! and go to Order\File\HCPC Procedure
    Next, select an HCPC code that has a qualifying diagnosis code and do an "ALT-V" on it.  This will pop up a green screen titled "Qualifying Diagnosis".  
    Now, do ALT-A to add a new diagnosis code.  Type in the diagnosis code and hit ENTER.  By doing that action, that turns the "switch" on in the system.  This is a one-time action.  You do not have to do this again.
    Once the switch is turned on, the system will ask you if "this HCPC code" is qualified with "that diagnosis code".  Please remember, this feature can, for the first month or so, be very annoying.  Basically, you are starting to fill in a blank database.  However, as time moves on, this question will become less and less.
